At Bill’s Place, we believe all residents deserve respect, dignity, and comfort in a caring environment. Our goal is to help them work toward the next step in their lives, enhance their self-esteem, and make responsible choices for their future. We deal with recovery and all that it encompasses, based on proven methods and delivered in the best-practices manner to assure residents' long-term success.
Our program is designed for men who choose this for themselves and clearly understand they are responsible for their own well-being before, during, and after their participation. It is for those who are consumed by the desire to turn their lives around, unwilling to live from "that's just how it is," and open to new possibilities through mentoring, coaching, and "going the extra mile" to make a difference for themselves and others.
The Bill's Place program is confidential, anonymous, and private. We make every effort to guarantee confidentiality on and off the premises. Our intention is to provide a family setting where everyone supports each other as well as themselves.
We begin by assessing the needs of each prospective resident. Once complete, the recovery and treatment process can begin. The program emphasizes AA’s 12 Steps and 12 Traditions operating within spiritual principles, and we expect everyone in our program to practice them daily.
Our program includes coaching, counseling, education, and recovery management, and emphasizes individual efforts in working diligently on one’s own recovery — the exercising of self-discipline and common sense to ensure the best possible experience of forwarding the momentum — so progress is felt and seen, and self-esteem and character development are natural by-products. Additional services include educational and vocational testing, group sessions, off-site group and family activities, community projects, long-term housing referrals, and more.
